The bright, radiant sound of this light-weight harp reminds us of the former magic from the days of King Arthur. As with this harp, I fall back on reliable wood joints with all my instruments, the kind of joints which could be found earlier with every masterpiece by good craftsmen, but which nowadays can no longer be taken for granted. A stable mortise and tenon wood joint guarantees a tight and lasting fit for the supporting wooden parts - something essential in the case of a transportable Irish harp that is always on the move. 31 strings ranging from E-flat to g3, weighing merely 6.5 kg. This particular harp was made according to the best traditional instrument making techniques.
